Why it comes out different
Anyone can rent a pressure washer. That is exactly the problem.
A pressure washer is a tool that removes material. Point it at the wrong surface, at the wrong angle, at the wrong pressure, and it etches concrete, strips paint, furs wood grain and drives water behind your siding where you will not see the damage for two years.
Kevin spent 25+ years washing commercial fleets — vehicles worth six figures, on a schedule, to a standard somebody signed off on. That work does not tolerate guessing. It is the same discipline applied to your house.
- The right method per surface. Soft wash for siding, stucco and painted wood. Controlled pressure and rotary surface cleaning for concrete and hardscape.
- Treated, not just rinsed. Algae and mildew get killed at the root, so they stay gone longer instead of coming back in six weeks.
- Edges, corners and detail. No zebra striping on the driveway, no missed band under the gutter line, no clean wall with a dirty downspout on it.
- The owner is accountable. There is no crew to blame and no manager to escalate to. Kevin quotes it, Kevin does it, Kevin owns the result.

Who you are hiring
Revive is Kevin. That is the whole pitch.
Most exterior cleaning companies sell you on a brand and send whoever is available. Revive is owner-operated on purpose: the person who quotes your job is the person standing on your driveway doing it, and the person you call if anything is not right.
The business grew out of 25+ years in commercial fleet cleaning — steady, repeat, contract work where you are only as good as the last vehicle you handed back. Homeowners in Delaware County get the same treatment: show up when you said, do what you quoted, leave it better than you found it.
- Owner-operated — one point of contact from estimate to finish
- Residential, commercial and fleet work all handled in-house
- Local to Media, PA — not a franchise routed in from out of county

Straight answers
Questions homeowners actually ask
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses water force to remove dirt. Soft washing uses low pressure plus a cleaning solution to kill the algae, mildew and mould at the root, then rinses it away. Siding, stucco, painted surfaces and roofs get soft washed — high pressure on those causes real damage, forces water behind the cladding and voids siding warranties. Concrete, brick pavers and most hardscape can take pressure, applied evenly. Part of what you are paying for is somebody who knows which surface gets which.
Will it damage my siding, stucco or paint?
Not when it is done right. Every surface gets matched to the correct pressure and the correct cleaning solution before a drop of water is sprayed. That is the whole point of hiring an experienced operator rather than renting a machine — a pressure washer in the wrong hands will etch concrete, strip paint, fur wood grain and drive water into places it should never go.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of the property, the surface, how much build-up there is and how accessible it is — so no honest contractor can give you a real number without knowing those things. What Revive will do is give you a free written estimate with a firm price, so there are no surprises on the day. Call (610) 960-4603 or email revivepwpa@gmail.com with your address and what you need cleaned.
How often should a house be washed?
For most Delaware County homes, every one to two years keeps siding from ever getting bad. North-facing walls, shaded elevations and anything under mature trees grow algae faster and may want yearly attention. Concrete and hardscape are usually on a similar cycle. If you cannot remember the last time it was done, it is due.
Do I need to be home while you work?
No. As long as Kevin has access to the areas being cleaned and an outside spigot, you do not need to take a day off. Most customers get a text when the work starts and a text with photos when it is finished.
What about my plants and landscaping?
Plantings get pre-wet and rinsed down, and beds close to the work get protected before anything is applied. Tell Kevin about anything you are particular about — new sod, prize hydrangeas, a vegetable garden — and it gets handled accordingly.
